We've been buckled down in the studio working on all the plans for our trip to Cambodia in a month! The preparation for the project as well as the travel has been absolutely crazy, but so exciting. We're sketching and designing, planning and arranging... it might have taken over our lives a bit. (But in the best way possible!)
When I sat down to start sketching, I knew I wanted to come up with pieces that had a simplicity about them, but with a unique, impactful element. We've been playing around with semi precious stones, antique brass, leather, and even a Cambodian coin. The very first design has been decided on - and we're off to a running start.
I know it has been really difficult until now to wrap your minds around what exactly the project is going to do, but we're excited to finally be able to show you a bit of what we're working on.
We've also announced the team who'll be working with me on the project.
It's coming down to the wire and we would love your help - spreading the word, praying for a safe and fruitful trip, and anything you have to give is much appreciated.
