So, where has this year gone? Normally one has a "fresh start" in the Spring. Well, I've decided to mix it up a bit. Life has become very different. and just as hectic. I thought a change of jobs would give me more of a routine and allow for more art time. True, I do have two days in a row off. And yes, they are actually weekend days. I love that. I am finding that I have to manage my time much better or else 2 days come and go and suddenly, I have nothing checked off my list. I've spent a few off days getting myself and my house organized. I finished a painting, which turned out great, did a photo shoot for a local interior designer, and I've been much more social. I feel like I am much more in the loop. more connected. I have not, however created any jewelry in over 1 month. I feel like I am dividing myself between several loves. As a friend quipped, I am artistically ADD. I wonder if I would be completely happy in only one artistic endeavor. Not sure that I would. I will say, I have felt more "creatively satisfied," since focusing on other things for a little bit. Kind of like a mini vacation. I am getting myself together. Becoming who I want to be.
