Taking a moment to slow down can often put things into perspective. Over the past week, I have battled with being sick, but refused to slow down. Or rather, I did not have a chance to stop and rest. I made a conscious decision to stop and relax today. I thought about how I create, and how I organize listing items, photographing them, making designs, etc. Normally, I would try to do many different things in one session. I sat back and thought about how I could be more efficient. If I take time to do photos, then later list, rather than jumping from one task to another, I am more thorough. I should take a day to create, then a day to photograph, or list. Then I am in the right frame of mind for that day's work. I realize today I am rambling. What I guess I realized is that whatever I focus on is what I see the detail and beauty in. I tend to jump around. I should focus more. For instance, look at the photo above. There is a beautiful view behind the jewelry, but I chose to focus on the bracelet. Maybe tomorrow I'll focus on the view outside.
